I just had a spiritual awakening on my way to las Vegas. I was relaxing in my seat on the plane listening to my iPod contemplating life, overviewing my current situations as a way of reflecting for my birthday. As we were asscending in the sky Nikki minaji song ‘fly’ came on and it felt like a scene straight outta a movie. I love moments like those.
I want to share my gratitude list :
Life one more day
My own place
my little brother
I recently went on vacation to Club Med and it was a time to remember for the rest of my life. I went with friends to this all inclusive resort and did all the things i always wanted to do that i saw in the movies. I went swimming in a infinity pool, ate gourmet food ,and last but not least i did the trapeze. I saw Carrie on sex and the city do it and i said to myself one day that will be me and it did it!
I was so scared and excited at the same time and as i climbed that latter to get to the pillar to jump off all i was telling myself its ok i am strapped up to a harness and jumping into a net i wont be hurt. I had someone record me and it is in my phone and in my heart forever
I met Iyanla at a book signing it was truly a thrill for me because i have been following her work since i was a teenager. I can remember when i first saw her on a hit television show called “The starting over house” it was about women who moved into this house who were looking for healing in their life. Iyanla was one of the life coaches who helped the women and i remember being hooked instantly to her brand of wisdom. I started acquiring her books she made such a difference in my life and encouraged me to better myself . When i met her she held my hand and told me i was blessed and beloved and that she appreciated my loyal adoration that meant so much to me. I proudly hang my autographed photo in my home and it reminds me of my journey of healing and love that was provided to me by my hero.
